Photographs from the Collections of the Ohio Historical Society -
The Ohio Historical Society's online photograph collections span the history
of photography, from the early 1840s through the present day, as it relates
to Ohio and Ohioans. The diversity of the collections is extensive. As would
be expected, the photographs illustrate the state and its history, but they
also go beyond the borders of the state.

Ohio Dry Campaign
of 1918 - Includes collection of broadsides in the state's
newspapers regarding prohibition. Many of them contain patriotic references
to the mobilization for the First World War. Although nationally political sentiment
had clearly developed in support of a prohibition amendment to the federal constitution
before the United States declared war in 1917, the Ohio Dry Federation propagandists
were looking for every advantage to win over a majority of the state's voters.

Center for the Arts - a non-profit, comprehensive cultural
and performing arts center. Patrons can enjoy spectacular musicals, hilarious
comedies, and challenging, cutting-edge dramas in Beck Center's two theaters,
a 488-seat Main Stage Theater and an 83-seat intimate Studio Theater. Younger
thespians can enroll in Children's and Teen Theater, study acting, and perform
a complete play on stage in front of their peers and families.
